5G Next Generation
The next generation of telecommunications is almost here. Fifth generation cellular mobile communications which are after the current 4G (LTE/WiMa) is the next significant technological advancement in history which will be more cost efficient, energy efficient, with a higher system capacity for global device connectivity. 5th Generation is to be released in March of 2019 and will be able to accommodate many of the current devices and mechanics now in place, making it compatible in its first stages to all current technology. After it’s deployment in 2019, there will be another phase released in March of 2020 which will by then be able to accommodate future technologies.

What else can 5G offer?
It will be used in education to open the doors to the world to students who live in its massive coverage grid, which will be compatible with many united states wireless providers such as Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and even Dish Network. 5G’s massive coverage grid will virtually cover the entire globe, providing unprecedented connectivity and information exchange. It’s potential uses in education have been researched and created into an education network which will implement 5G technology into the education system providing an all-around change in learning.
Technologies
Technologies such as Augmented Reality, Virtual reality, personalized and customizable learning, and even wireless backpacks will be implemented into the education venues all around the world, and connected to the 5G network, providing a more proficient learning environment for the future. Students with special needs will be provided technologies which will allow them to be able to keep up with their classmates, and 5G can make learning more accessible to them. Robots and other cloud-based technologies will be used for the assistance of disabled students, allowing them to interact with their education, environment, and classmates in a more accomplished manner.
Imagine a world where education reached beyond the walls of classrooms and school buildings, and country borders, and was accessible to all those who are willing to obtain it. This world, we are currently looking forward to with 5G technology and global coverage; education can expand by having a network which is capable of instant internet communication and capabilities providing lightspeed information transfer. Classrooms full of technology, VR’s used for educational purposes, international school programs for world exposure through classroom monitors, schools without walls and without boundaries which will provide an environment for free thinking and solution creation.

Current 5G Usage
5G technology has already deployed in Qatar in the middle east, a country known for its futuristic skyscrapers and overly-modern designs in their architecture. They have implemented the 5G technology digital lifestyle into almost every aspect of everyday living. 5G helps manage and promote healthcare, logistics, manufacturing, finance, government, education, automotive, media, and entertainment in Qatar, and soon it will be introduced to the United States also.

Many educators are now designing curriculums that will implement 5G technology into their education styles by the time of its release, to further their education strategies. Ronnie brown Mansfield is one of those who is getting ready for the release of 5G technology for use to give advanced education to his students. Ronnie Brown Mansfield will also implement 5G technology into his sports teams, which he has been coaching for years who have all had a %100 graduate rate. Other educators and schools are also incorporating 5G technology into their future curriculums and educational activities. Verizon holds a $1 million contest for those who can create 5G tech with AR, AI or VR for educational purposes. They invite education tech nonprofits and research groups, universities and individuals to propose educational solutions which are technology-based and to propose ways of further implementing 5G technology into the education.
Many companies in the United States are creating technologies which will transform classrooms and the actual concepts of how education is currently executed into a more accomplished technology tool oriented experience for students to expand their knowledge and create new ideas for an innovative and revolutionary future.
